Kimera Inspires,
Natalia Creates
A short film for each artist we host. The place offers something; the artist makes something from it. The first is Natalia Chobanyan.
From sunrise to the blue of the cyanotype.
Drawing on the shore as the sun comes up, the iPad under an olive tree in the garden, a cyanotype made with plants, and a morning walk on Çıralı beach. Watch with the sound on.

Natalia Chobanyan
An illustrator from Tbilisi, based in Moscow. She works in fresco secco, monotype and watercolour, and blue pigments run through much of her work.
During her days at Kimera she drew on her iPad and worked on cyanotypes.
@chochonata
The same view, every morning.
In Natalia's Shore of Observations series she returns to the same view each day and records in watercolour sketches how the light changes it. The idea of the film came from there: drawing from one spot in the Kimera garden, looking toward the Olympos ridge.
